Recharter 2024

Dear Scouting Families, 

It's that time of year when we recharter our Troop with our National and Local BSA organizations. In order to recharter we need some information from you to fill out the recharter paperwork. 

For Scouts please fill out the form at this link https://forms.gle/a9y4U5MAunBrVbCA9. We want to make sure you are still interested in being a part of our troop. Please note there is an annual  $110 registration fee of which all but $6 goes to our National Organization and Local Allegheny Highlands Council. The funds will be taken from your scout account. If your account is below that you can pay with a personal check written to Troop 267 or use our Cheddar Up (https://troop-267-registration-donation.cheddarup.com)  account. Funds will need to be in the account no later than January 1, 2024.  

For Adults who want to serve in a leadership position, go on overnight events such as campouts or be a merit badge counselor please fill out this form https://forms.gle/CvJ3FbqVtbszpT6H7. For those who want to serve in a leadership position or go on overnight campouts there is a $60 fee. If you only want to serve as a merit badge counselor then it's a $25 fee. Both of these fees help cover the required background check needed as a part of BSA Youth Protection Policy. Please know everyone must be current on their Youth Protection Training (https://www.scouting.org/training/youth-protection/) through January 31, 2025.  The funds can be taken from your scouts account. If their account is below that, or you don't have a scout, you can pay with a personal check written to Troop 267 or use our Cheddar Up (https://troop-267-registration-donation.cheddarup.com) account. Funds will need to be in the account no later than January 1, 2024.
